Speed Treadmill

Accel Treadmill

This specialized treadmill provides a speed range from 0-28 miles per hour and is improve their speed while reducing force at the knee upon foot strike. By elevating the grade, runners capable of an incline up to 40 percent and decline to 10 percent. Raised and lowered hydraulically, these unique treadmills are designed to help athletes automatically learn to maintain forceful knee drive, proper pelvic position, high foot carry-through and full extension with every stride. Its subsurface was designed from interchangeable polymers to provide additional shock absorption. The treadmill also has a specially-designed spotting mechanism and handlebar for backward running. The attributes of incline running, combined with the safety of increased shock absorption, provide the opportunity for repeated exercises under ideal conditions to improve stride length.

 

Force

Force Treadmill

The Force is the ultimate tool for developing speed and power via resistance training.  The sport Loading Platform provides coaches and trainers with a controlled atmosphere from which to develop lower extremity output, increase stride length and increase overall explosiveness with measurable results for their athletes.

Based on Woodway’s patented slat and ball bearing design, the Force does not have a drive motor, but actually a magnetic braking system (0-150lb.) that turns the athlete/user into “the force” which drives the belt.  The Force works by tethering the athlete to the rear of the treadmill and having them actually spin the belt as they run: adding resistance increases the force that the athlete must generate to run.

The biggest advantage of the Force is the ability to produce measurable results.  Using the Force software, users have access to a range of data from the very simple speed, power,time, heart rate, and distance to utilizing computer software that measures, compares and saves horizontal and vertical forces and displays them in graph form for gait analysis and overall athletic system development.

Hockey Treadmill

The Hockey Treadmill, coupled with your trainer and the mirror in which you can see your progress, sets you up to play at a game speed for a longer period with more power and agility then your opponent.  It’s the perfect ice-like surface, designed to train you from the inside out-neurologically, metabolically, and biomechanically- so that you can become a more efficient skater.  You train in your skate, just as if you were on ice.

Made of our patented and specially lubricated, ice-like surface, the Hockey Treadmill tilts form 0- to a 32-percent grade and can operate at speeds over 16 miles per hour, creating a perfect environment to improve your skating and efficiency.  After training in our program for six-eight weeks, our athletes enhance their break away speed, develop quicker cuts, improve power in the first three steps and gain conditioning.
HTMOur scientific research shows that incline treadmill skating recruits key muscles at a level two to three times higher then rink skating at the same stride frequency, which helps you produce more power during each stride, during both push off and recovery.  The treadmill also allows us to safely take you beyond what you can do on the ice-so you learn to skate faster and improve your efficiency and conditioning.  This translates to success on the ice.

Synthetic Ice

Synthetic Ice Arena

The synthetic Ice Arena allows our hockey players to work on their shooting and stick handling skills at the same facility they work on their stride mechanics.  The Synthetic Ice
Athletes can wear their skates or their shoes while on the  synthetic ice and have over 100 pucks to practice their shooting techniques.  Individual lessons are available along with the ability to rent out the space for your team.Arena is 40 feet long by 20 feet wide.

 

 

Vertimax

Vertimax

The Vertimax is the safest and most effective way to work on lower body power
development.  Athletes wear a belt where cords are attached to provide resistance while an athlete is training.  The resistance can be adjusted to account for different athletes abilities.  Athletes will perform exercises directly on the vertimax in the vertical plane and off the vertimax while still being attached horizontally as well.  This is the perfect training tool to help those athletes who need to jump higher or put more force into the ground to change direction.

 

 

 

Strength

Strength Training

Every athlete that signs up for our program will be doing   a strength training routine utilizing our electric coach software. After the evaluation we  create an appropriate strength training workout based on the athlete’s age, sport, and needs. All workouts will include any functional exercises the athletes need to increase his/her performance, lower body power exercises, upper body strength exercises, and core work. Athletes between the ages of 8-12 will still do a strength training routine but it will be mostly body weight exercises, what they will be doing will have no negative effects on growth, bones or their joints.

 

 

 

Sleds

 

Sleds

Sled training is a great tool for conditioning an athlete’s lower body which is one of the ways we utilize our sleds. The athletes will either be pushing, pulling or back pedaling with the sled for conditioning purposes. We also utilize the sleds for teaching acceleration mechanics.

 

Neck

Rogers 4-Way Neck 

The smoothest most durable and comfortable plate loaded 4-way neck machine. Train the neck four different directions to target the flexors, lateral flexors, and extensors muscles. Muscles of the neck absorb shock when struck, therefore, stronger necks reduce head acceleration and displacement. This is a great piece of equipment for football, hockey, soccer, lacrosse, MMA, wrestling and rugby athletes to help them strengthen their neck.
